What Services Do You Provide? At Parrish Chiropractic we offer a number of services depending on the type of care you need.  In Chiropractic, the “Adjustment” is the manipulation of specific bones (vertebrae) that make up your spine.  When displaced vertebrae interfere with normal nerve supply, it causes a disturbance to the nervous system, and this will be your primary treatment in most cases.  Adjustments are done by hand, and while lying on a specially designed table, the doctor will use techniques to apply pressure to specifically targeted areas of the spine that are misaligned, or that fail to move correctly within a normal range of motion.  The first adjustment will begin to restore the vertebrae to its natural position.  Normally, proper muscle tone, ligament position and the shape of the vertebrae will keep the vertebrae in place.  However, it is important to keep up with your treatment on a regular basis so that you can benefit from your chiropractic care.
How Do I Know if a Chiropractor Can Treat or Cure the Pain I’m Feeling? To determine if chiropractic can help you we offer free consultations.   Here, we offer pain relief from: Lower back pain Auto accidents and injuries from falls Sport injuries Neck pain Arm/Shoulder pain Hip pain We also provide relief for Allergies, Arthritis, Headaches, and Migraines.  We provide care for your whole family including, Children, and Pregnant women in our clinic.  (See our other services pages)
When Can I Expect to Get Well? Spinal related conditions require quality of treatment, to treat your specific needs.  We at Parrish Chiropractic will seek out the cause of your pain and treat it accordingly.  When the pain is gone after one visit, respectfully patients tend to believe they are cured, which is not the case.  Dormant pressure upon nerves in the spine can be misunderstood at times by patients.  In some cases, it is reasonable to allow at least weeks for your pain symptoms to be reversed.  This is why we stress to our patients that follow-up care will be beneficial to them.
